still trying to understand what’s the big deal about the 6th diminished scale, many youtube videos rave about barry harris and the power of understanding this but i don’t follow. i’m practising it anyway and i’m even find some uses for it, trusting in all those know-it-alls, but truly i don’t get how it can provide the thing they are attributing to it which is a simple solution for voicing a melody.
