Watching and listening to a guy last night at the Tranzac seated before a table with little electronic boxes playing a loop and audience silently takes in his performance which resembled a person turning on a light switch and wondered about footage of Mars which leads one to consider all the humans from the 19th century and earlier, that had no reason to imagine future people capable of sending ships into outer space equipped with cameras to capture images to later share with zillions of fellow citizens over something called an internet. Which is more surreal?
