fun to play ottawa and drive all night back to toronto. the last hour was the hardest in terms of being reliable. i also passed one doozy of an accident’s aftermath. i thought all the flashing lights stood for construction ahead but it was much worse. strange piano at the show but at least it was a piano. it had built in partitions. the only point of that seemed to be obscuring the visibility of the pianist’s hands for the audience. who would care about that? nice to finally work with lynn miles.
