I’m in a fight over marks and I don’t know how it goes down but I like my odds. Reviewing my music for the Guelph show Saturday, felt good. I’m supposed to also read from my book, which I did recently in Ottawa, felt sort of like a comedy. No idea if Guelph will be an empty room or a full one but definitely better for comedy if empty. One trick I picked up from Art Tatum is the gift that keeps giving. No matter what key, gliding the index and thumb. It’s a beautiful thing to realize and work towards developing. Tom is a grandfather, he sent me a video holding the little man in his palm while singing Nature Boy. How surreal that must be. I’ve won the best dad of the year award, scored a purple banana seat for $25 within an hour after her identifying this deep desire. Got a call this morning to play a part in an upcoming tv series, a role where a band plays Celebration and Just The Way You are. I have allergies for Billy Joel but dared the forces of nature anyway. I wouldn’t mind adding these things to my CV, been in a Netflix series, challenged an academic mark, located purple banana seat within 60 minutes of request.
