Today I read about musicians performing Music for Airports in an airport and I suppose such a “happening” is inevitable. Sounds like people believing themselves clever or cute or perhaps super cool but it also sounds like inviting actors to pretend to riot during a performance of the Rite of Spring. The difference between calling attention to everything as a performance and actually performing it. My daughter tested negative for Covid, onwards with our trip despite her sniffles though I anticipate hostile hateful looks from strangers on the airplane as we all sit masked and watching movies. I’m expecting a performance I’m not so keen on.
