I miss Pete Postlethwaite. Watched In The Name Of The Father. Bono’s music was annoying but not enough to stop the pleasure of Pete Postlethwaite’s acting. I was checking it out for Daniel Day Lewis who never disappoints, who makes sense out of categories like “best of”. A pleasant surprise to see Kaiser Söze’s representative once again. I know only one trick about acting and it’s similar to a music trick which is get comfortable with being stupid or goofy, get rid of caring about what you look like or if any of this is unflattering to your imaginary idea of what you are. If you really intend on trying to ascend the mountain and maybe hanging out a second or two with Pete and Daniel you better not be precious.
