m’s pain

There is a student who often I have sensed carries some pain. I see it in her face since and in her recent album presentation she nonchalantly added it was traumatizing being bullied when she was in grade seven. Classmates later asked a couple specific questions but she shut them down abruptly. That is fine, none of our business. However, since our first exchanges, I did find something incongruent about her. The facial expressions didn’t match the words. It seemed like pain in her eyes and forehead but maybe I am just projecting. The Finkelstein book arrived today. Pretty pricey but I am glad to own it and expect to find useful parts for the censorship course. It is called I’ll Burn That Bridge When I Come To It. Yesterday, I secured an upcoming interview for the improv journal, this time with a very accomplish California based fraud artist who cheated people out of millions and went to jail a long time. He now helps police identify cons in advance. I just want to ask him about improvisation.
