Had to endure the painful prerecorded music and messages when I called the credit card company. In French they do not alter words using “er” like I do as an Englisher. Instead of big and bigger, fast and faster. They use “more”. Tard in French is later, hence plus tard = more later. Over and over the horrible prerecorded music and messaging it is simply stupid and more stupid. What a student of French like myself would parlez as plusdumb. Now, months late, I am doing my taxes. It is my style. I noticed two parking charges on the same day and conspicuously both $50. Who would pay a parking lot $50 and twice on the same day? Tres poissony. The credit card person finally arrives and we sort it out. At one point when he asks to put me on hold I plead not to isolate me with the prerecorded questions, music and announcements. He appreciates my boldness and non hostile manner. He refunds me despite their policy being tough shit if it happened more than a year ago. I blame my good fortune on the bad fortune and the worse fortune of the prerecorded sounds.
