Some excerpts of class journals:
i) The body has a language, sans words. It is about sleep and food and movement. We live as though it is ours to use like a tool, which is half true but the other half is that it invariably terminates as was the plan all along. Then the part of you that goes by “I” might panic confronted by the fact the body no longer adheres to any of your commands or wishes. It would be better prior to that to try learning how best to speak the body’s language, otherwise tough luck. It doesn’t hear you, it was just being agreeable like the way a dog keeps taking you back and being willing to go along with you until it cannot.
ii) Music changes everything and I do not know why.
iii) What disturbs me most about this course is the teacher acts like he is the same as us, so why then am I here?
iv) My cat died last week. I started to write this song, he was my best friend. The song was cheesy but that was his name. It is not cheesy to write a song about cheesy and yet it is cheesy, 100%.

that’s a good one.
student will understand someday.
in the meantime they are under the illusion that those who know more about a topic because more experienced must be more exalted than we are
it’s why some spiritual gurus get away with the most egotistical behaviour
