One time I was playing in Winnipeg and Neil Young was there too. I figured he was staying at the Fairmont and dropped a package off to him. It came back in the mail to me a month later unopened. Such a strange professional operation, I guess that’s how it goes in his league. One time in Toronto, I knew David Byrne was speaking at Harbourfront. Figured he probably stayed at the Hilton. Dropped a package off to him and a few months later he played my music on his show. Take that Neil.
