A know a musician who sees the world very differently than I. We are on different sides of political issues. He is offended by my views as I am by his. There is no shortage of this situation everywhere in the world and yet shortage is what I’m after. It is precisely that which I enjoy about Rob, the director of the comedy we carefully are executing. He knows the value of suspending hostility, not an easy lesson. So much easier for everyone to explode at who is not like them. And through screaming and yelling and pointing fingers they can experience internally bragging about how much better they are.
