In the final class I asked if they had any feedback. Three said it put them out of their comfort zone and they liked that. I enjoyed hearing that but didn’t realize these three had thoughts about the class like that. I thought these particular three were bored or indifferent the entire time. It either means I must remember my assumptions about other people might be completely wrong or it means these three clever souls realize I’m a sucker for flattery and they’re betting simple compliments raises their final mark.
