decision by committee

I am hired again to teach two classes this September at Seneca and one at Western in London. I also had a recent interview to work at Ryerson. I was afraid I would blow it and call them Ryerson and ruin my chances because that is no longer their name. Instead they have the awesome unique name Toronto Metropolitan University. Has there ever been a better example of a name by committee? The course I’m teaching at Seneca I have developed over a few semesters, that is easy but the one at Western will be some new ideas. It is about special topics in music history. What do ya’ll think are the “special topics” I should try illuminating?
