This took two hours only. Made the best pickles ever. I am amazed. Apple cider vinegar, water, peppercorns, chilies, dill, salt, cucumbers and one secret. Wish I could say the same for comping Fly Me To The Moon in Dflat but it is getting there. Slow and steady. I started pestering people to play the Monday Tranzac open stage. It is an experiment. Why should they come play ten minutes for free? But reality is many people play gigs where they hardly earn anything plus this open stage usually has twenty-five people, there to listen. Another meaningful aspect is the absence of the music industry. It is built in. It is uncomfortable for them, they stay away. It has nothing to do with making money from music. And any business type crumbles in the face of the politics of anyone can play. It’s the improvisation of it all that is so meaningful. How awesome it is to assume someone is not necessarily good who turns out to be amazing or the opposite, assuming greatness when they turn out to be only as good as a chemical tasting pickle.
