Seeing Seven Samurai at the Revue was awesome on a big screen and 200 people. I want that more. Music was also more interesting than I recall. Each time I counted and was surprised the pieces were in 4. I kept imagining they might be weirder because their textures seemed other worldly. I didn’t understand Mifune’s character when I’ve watched this before on smaller screens but this time I understood his story line differently. The son of farmers trying to be a Samurai.
