With so many students it is very difficult to continue my PhD but I push on. I sent some material to three readers to check my objectivity because I’m losing my bearings. So far two replied. Jack especially made my day, he said after reading what I sent “you can write a sentence”. Reminds me when Mark Hundevad waxed on about profound drum lesson with guy in Philadelphia who just had him hit a quarter note over and over. I still have no idea why Mark found epiphanies there but I’ll file it in the same section as Jack setting me straight.
