Last week a student asked me if it was true in the past they arrested ordinary people for downloading. I said yes and they even fined them thousands of dollars because of it even if it was kids downloading whatever from watching MTV like Run DMC, whatever. Someone else asked the class if they thought things always remain that way. Which way? That a certain percentage of people fight and scream to stop anything from changing especially if they are losing money from the system they relied upon. All but one concurred with this observation. The lone hold out replied everything is exactly the way it is supposed to be. A certain percentage have to jump up and down yes but another specific percentage has to change and another has to stand by and watch. The last song she shared with the class in our open stage was about that too. That life itself is one big incomprehensible body, alive and living and everything that is happening reflects exactly that.
