In the class discussions posted online a few students address the articles we recently reviewed which showed disproportionate amounts of male artists featured in music festivals. Most of the students write that it would be corrected by mandating equal numbers of women and men. I don’t personally think that is the fix but I also don’t know how to express that without everyone wanting to taser me. I’m drawn more to forcing equal opportunities rather than forcing equal outcomes.
