Recently some students became almost litigious about a date switched. Instead of having three weeks to prepare something that takes ten minutes, now they had merely two weeks. They found me very unreasonable. A wee bit amazing that they are expecting to be in the music business where one might experience a string breaking while in concert or forgetting lyrics before audiences or a transmission dying while on tour or a gig canceled the night before with a guarantee you built the whole tour around.
