My daughter is a fan of the song by the La’s There She Goes. But I misheard it as Here She Comes which infuriates her. Naturally, I am incentivized to continue singing it incorrectly. She screams. She started playing Jessie’s Girl by Rick Springfield. It made me think of My Sharona, I played it for her, then asked what do you think? She yawned. I liked reading that Brian Wilson went apeshit over Rubber Soul. I put it on. I think the Brits recorded all their sounds much better in those 1960s but I don’t think George Martin’s son deserves the captain’s chair to remix the gold just because his father oversaw it in the first place.
