Started playing Day Tripper on piano in G#. Always assumed it was about tripping on LSD but the Google Gods tell me John and Paul had other meanings. Either way playing it in G# and slow is quite fun. I’m guessing the longer I delay the actual signature of the pattern, people will have the experience of knowing they know these lyrics but can’t figure out from where. I loved that sequence as a kid. Like sugar.
