Almost finished my Framing Document. The strangest part is attributing importance to what I wrote. The project was important to me but whether or not others find meaning in it.. I don’t care. My sense of how the writing proceeds. At least my mentors in this business indicate these outcomes. Freddie Stone did me a solid when he said as a performer your job is to forget about the audience, not care about the audience. He said they are smart enough to tell whether you’re good or not. It was great advice. I am so turned off by people who are performing to the audience, to be cute or answer some imaginary idea about the audience vs. people who can’t help being what they are.
