After his father the famous A&R executive died, the company gave the position to young Denny.  Denny who always believed he knew a hit when he heard one, made it his first order of business to sign his high school friend Blinky Swivelhead. The record went nowhere, he spent another 70k on a video which also went nowhere. Executive management had a meeting and discussed why they assumed the child of the person who did a job well, should be also be good at it just because their parent previously held the position. Just kidding, people don’t reflect on that line of thought.

Meanwhile at Ivanka Trump headquarters they were planning her 2020 run at the republican party, someone suggested a song about being unique from that new Blinky Swivelhead. They negotiated a $300 fee for Blinky to sign away his rights to the song in perpetuity for use at future rallies and all branding videos.
