you’re welcome

According to an unscientific student poll there are approximately 6 types of songs.

a/ I want to fuck you

b/ How can I get you to fuck me

c/ Why did you fuck them?

d/ I can’t live without fucking you

e/ Don’t you know I want to fuck you?

f/ I’m never going to fuck you again

.
I think their research is unsurprising. It’s also why I enjoy something different than overused categories. Combine that with the fact that I hear a lot of things my young’n fixates on and my favourite song of the last 2 years is from the film Moana. The character named Maui is a narcissist. When he meets Moana he presumes she’s blown away to stand near him, he sings a song about how amazed she must feel to share the same oxygen as him. The chorus is “you’re welcome” which is always funny and something about the design makes me think the arranger has a deep understanding of Earth, Wind and Fire.
