I knew more than one player that could not keep going, couldn’t juggle the conditions of selling labour some dumb job whatever it might have been, washing dishes or being a security guard when their real work was drumming or guitaring or producing etc. Remember how people would speak about their mental health after they had a breakdown or took their life but I don’t think those ends ever a predetermined genetic condition just too depressing that their talent wasn’t worth something that positioned them differently in capitalist world. Peter, Phiillip, Mira, Babette, Charles and Clayton from Philadelphia who drummed for Roberta Flack.
