at the xmas show, an eight year old on stage was speaking into a microphone and it started to feedback. he froze not knowing what the feedback meant or what to do about it. was a very long 16 seconds of noise before someone jumped on stage and solved the problem, turning the P.A. towards the crowd. liked how the kid’s confused expression never conveyed any idea that this might be connected to the microphone in his hand. if trump was to hear about bankruptcies due to his management of America, same expression would be on his face, ‘how mysterious but nothing to do with me.’ most boards throw me when i try to do sound. the basic volume and eq is not a problem but figuring out the sends, busses, effects and even the monitor send/ return varies board to board. easily i can be stuck. wish I could get away with acting oblivious but it’s my problem.
