was listening to all the james bond film theme songs and realized, next year, I would like to make it a class assignment. take any old james bond film and write your version of a theme song. another idea for next year, take a hit song and take apart it’s elements and reorganize them into whatever shape you like, lyrics too. one regrettable experience last year, a couple students could not understand why i assigned the assignment to write a bad song. they were furious that it didn’t make sense. need to figure out how to have the fun i want without people becoming hostile; life motto in general.
