In 1991, a Canadian fan living in Poland, organized three shows for me. Kraków, Kazimierz Dolny and Warsaw. The Poles were in the midst of devaluing their money, removing three or four zeros from their currency but before the new rules I was paid in older money. The bill showed 1,000,000 zlotys, the equivalent of about $50 Canadian. Still, my first million.
