I’ve taught many adults and kids and the people who promise to practise but don’t are very interesting for their similarities. They spend money on this, they describe their wishes to me, I show them achievable solutions, sometimes they even get very emotional, even start crying because it feels immediately useful for attaining their goals. It surprises me later, if they don’t execute the necessary work between meetings.

Imagine a situation where you don’t want that particular substance but as quickly as you voice your rejection, the hand-bone connects to the down-your-throat-bone. The loop completes itself and maybe you wonder who exactly did this benefit? The parasitic wasp lays their eggs inside the bodies of other creatures. Sometimes this also includes a virus which infects their nuclei, causing symptoms like changing the diet of that spider or leech or Earth worm to accommodate the foreign embryos it now hosts.

Hard to find a mosquito that wishes it’s front leg was straighter or a tiger embarrassed by how long it takes to rip open the throat of its prey, a tree crying over a wasp nest in its branches. People alone, live with self disappointment, everything else alive is without complaints. Wonder if all that struggle could be a parasite harboured inside of consciousness?
