Trying to find Bettina Richards from Thrill Jockey online but not getting anywhere. She, like Darius Van Arman at JagJaguwar do great jobs of not being easy to locate. When my first record was on Atlantic she worked the alternative department. She was very nice to me and a few years later started Thrill Jockey. She might not like my stuff at all today but I would like to try reaching her. She sure seemed a friend back then. I never met Darius but I did correspond a little with Chris from Secretly Canadian but it never panned out. Bar/ None put some of my music out but we had no real relationship. Working with people you might actually want to buy dinner for, means everything.
