That Barry Harris thing, those major 6th sequences and diminished chords always sound to me like Blue Jay Way by George Harrison on Magical Mystery Tour, every time I practise them I start singing there’s a fog upon L.A., I’m hoping these types of studies help improve my ability to voice melodies, that’s all I ever wanted for xmas.
