The new song is about the space where you know something but to say it out loud will have ramifications one does not necessarily want to be responsible for. The first verse is about my old friend’s father who believed his son’s death was due to satanic lyrics in the music he listened to, which was totally inaccurate. We never listened to music like that and if had we would have found it boring or laughable. The second verse is about the teacher who needed to teach me a lesson because I shared an inconvenient truth. How awesome it was to have her teach me how to write the second verse. Third verse yet to show itself.
