Marked all 35 papers. Two hours after releasing them no one has written to cry or scream. This is a good sign though I don’t mind a nice fight. One or two suspicious situations. Happens every term, par for the course. People who never attend and always excuses straight from a low level improv class. I treat them with seriousness because it’s possible someone really did have all the catastrophes they describe. I try to stay open to the fact that even though when things appear one way there still is a chance it is not that way. At the same time I’ve told a lot of lies. It was a way of life for me and my friends growing up. I recognize good liars and I like the challenge of playing dumb which often is an intelligent way to trip up an obsessive liar playing the obsessive game. Playing dumb is like a chess move. Watched a guy on YouTube explaining best piano chord sequences. Such a liar and he fooled me into turning it on expecting to see/ hear something new.
