kevin waiting for subway.

Rarely am I in the subway at 8am. I followed the siphoning off of people at Yonge station and found myself on the platform with the other sardines. Then next to me a man who from behind resembles the body of Kevin who I knew at Greenpeace 40 years earlier. This guy has white hair but so should Kevin by now. Eventually he will turn and break the spell and then he does and I can’t tell for sure if it is Kevin or not. There is no beard but he sort of looks like the guy and before I can think I hear my voice ask Kevin? He looks at me like he doesn’t know me, which is in fact the way the real Kevin would react, and I say Bob Wiseman and he smiles and says my hat threw him. It is Kevin. He is no longer at Greenpeace in charge of the office. He says they kicked him out after thirty years. Considering I saw him last in the 80s I presume this is the last I ever see him in life. Thank be the Gods of improvisation for the fun of this and every other chance occurrence in the universe.
