I lose a lot of time to administration, to locating correct forms and correctly filling out applications or grades or surveys. It is a little bit fascinating how it eats into one’s mind and foils creativity. I remember that Joyce Carol Oates quote over and over, “the great destroyer of creativity is not lack of ideas, it is interruption”.
