ripped off from his solo and alienation

An adventurous  guitarist was asked to play a solo on a record but not everyone in the room understood the solo and so he was asked to do another and another. Different members of the band had different favourite versions, so did the producer. In the end the leader of the band decided they should honour the version the guitarist felt proudest of. A splendid moment for the future of the band or at least the relationship between the guitarist and the leader. A week later the guitarist was called by the band’s manager and told that the producer had a “technical problem” and the version the guitarist selected was “lost”. But as coincidence would have it the version the producer liked most was found and used on the record. One more unique moment for worker relations.  I’m reading Karl Marx’s theory of alienation not very hard to prove even though he was born 200 years ago his thinking was pretty clear.  What a difference when someone else takes credit for work not done by them vs. someone endeavouring to keep equity and respect in the room.
