When you see people who are identified with a minority, accept a position with a corrupt association, it might break your heart because the association gains credibility by having the minority person be part of their public voice. Despite the fact that the same association discriminates and insults the very groups the minority person is identified with, be they Women, Jews, Blacks, LGBTQ+ blah blah blah, skinny people, big people, people with French braids etc. Maybe that’s what he meant, “I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together,” that the ultimate end of discrimination is seeing that everyone, regardless of how they identify, is the same asshole.
