A man stranded on a desert island and found a clarinet washed up on the beach. He didn’t know how to play the clarinet and never thought about blowing into it, just played percussively with the keys or cupped his hand around the bell creating different frequencies. He invented songs, it helped get him through. After he was rescued and when it was found out he relied on the clarinet for sanity, people demonstrated how the clarinet actually is played and wanted to show him how wrong he was.
