Day four of covid, not so bad for me. Sore throat seemed lesser, a bit of a plugged nose, hurts in the lungs if the coughing gets too hard. Spoke with my doctor following my friend’s advice, also a doctor, and mine concurred with him and prescribed a puffer. But it was bad for my wife Magali and my daughter Esmé who both tested positive. Though Esmé shows no signs, Magali had a worse day than all four of mine. Onwards. Managed to get the online system working ok for uploading my syllabus and Organizing sign up sheets for teaching at Seneca. I like it when the IT person tells you nobody starts this early getting their shit together. I have no idea why they aren’t worried about things going wrong, obviously no touring, recording or performance experience. Big thunderstorm and rain leaked into our bedroom which was perfect. I knew that the pressure of starting a new job mixed with covid and quarantining was so easy, who wouldn’t envy my sitch? Nice touch, storm.
