First concert I ever saw, Winnipeg playhouse John Mayall and it stunk because they were drunk and living their hippie dream. All wasn’t lost, eventually they tried to do Room to Move. Nothing could make me happier than seeing them do that song which on the record Live at The Turning Point transfixed me. If you locate that song online it will transfix you too. They didn’t pull it off as good as the record but when you are thirteen at your first concert it doesn’t really matter. Over the 60s and 70s many amazing people played in his band. Clapton, Mick Taylor, Jesse Ed Davis, Jack Bruce, John McVie and Peter Green. So long John Mayall, no hard feelings.
