There is a story told somewhere that Kris Kristofferson got in trouble when he was the janitor at a recording studio where Johnny Cash was recording and Cash liked him. Kristofferson got into trouble with management and wasn’t allowed into the next Cash recording but Cash found him working elsewhere in the building and said he wouldn’t start recording until Kristofferson came and sat down in the studio. He wanted his energy present. I am not sure which guy was cooler.
